Clomid Profile

clomidClomid, also known as clomiphene citrate and LiquiClom, is a SERM (selective estrogen receptor modulator) used to treat infertility in women. The antiestrogen is highly effective in controlling or preventing estrogen, releasing testosterone, and stimulating the levels of LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (Follicle stimulating hormone). It has the molecular weight of 598.09 g/mol at the base and it is a combination of geometric isomers [cis (zuclomiphene) and trans (enclomiphene)] including of abut 30-50 percent of the cis-isomer.

The chemical name of Clomid is 2-[p-(2-chloro-1,2-diphenylvinyl)phenoxy] triethylamine citrate (1:1) and its molecular formula of C32H36ClNO8 (citrate) or C26H28ClNO. The antiestrogen has an elimination half-life of 5-7 days, Clomid tablets include Clomiphene citrate USP as the active ingredient, and the list of inactive ingredients includes magnesium stearate, pregelatinized cornstarch, lactose, and cornstarch.

Benefits of Clomid

Clomid is used medically for treating ovulatory dysfunction in women desiring pregnancy. In the world of professional sports dominated by use of aromatizable steroids and performance enhancing drugs, Clomid is used to reduce the side effects of damage to muscle tissues induced by exercises and is also admired for its unique ability to improve blood cholesterol.

The antiestrogen is also useful for sportsmen coming off their steroid cycles and entering the phase of post cycle therapy. Clomid is also useful for preventing estrogenic side effects such as fluid retention, gynecomastia, oily skin, and acne and restore the natural production of testosterone after the same has been affected by use of harsh steroids.

The antagonist or mixed estrogen agonist also demonstrates efficacy in inhibiting estrogen formation and stimulating the hypothalamus or pituitary at the same time. It can stimulate 100 percent of the baseline value at doses of 100 mg, better than Nolvadex, which is better than it, in mg for mg comparison.

The antiestrogen is highly effective for increasing activity in the hypothalamus-pituary-gonadol axis by stinulating the release of more gondotropin from the pituary to improve Luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which in turn passes a signal to the testes leydig cells to manufacture more testosterone and sperm. In short, Clomid is an excellent option for assisting bodybuilders to restart the production of natural testosterone after anabolic steroid cycles.

Recommended Dose

The recommended dose of Clomid is 50 mg per day for a continuing period of five days. Clomid doses can be increased with medical advice only in those patients who do not ovulate in response to cyclic 50 mg Clomid. The use of Clomid should not be initiated without medical approval and the doses should not be increased or decreased without prior medical approval.

Clomid can be used 8-12 hours after using Anadrol, 3 weeks after using Deca Durabolin, 4-8 hours after using Dianabol, 17-21 days after using Equipoise, and 3 weeks after using Sustanon 250. It can be used 3 days after Trenbolone, 2 weeks after using testosterone cypionate or testosterone enanthate, 3 days after using testosterone propionate, and 8-12 hours after using Winstrol.
